The wooden floor of the Eco Barn Owl Nest Box helps to keep the nesting area dry, but after a few years it will start to deteriorate. This replacement floor for this owl box is made from eco-friendly OSB (Oriented Strand Board).
To replace the floor simply lift up the existing floor and drop it down from the nest box. Reverse the procedure to put the new floor into its place. It doesn’t require any tools and simply rests on the plastic base panel. This is best undertaken whilst cleaning the pellets and debris out of the box after the end of the breeding season when Barn Owls have fledged and vacated the box.
